side step deployment

my new 2011 has it, i am not sure i want it, is their a way to disable it, maybe pull the fuse to it...

On the L405 you have to hold the button down then keep it pressed as you start & hold it for another 5 seconds or so.

Not sure if the L322 is the same

this was found using the search function,

If the steps are working and you want to disable them: insert the key in the dash in position 1 and hold the switch whilst turning the key to position 2, the light in the switch will flash twice to confirm the system is now off. To turn the system on repeat the procedure but the light will now flash three times to confirm the system is now on. ... - .- -.
