Not really a technical or modification but i have had a constant wind noise (from the car not me !!) since i bought her.
Ive been more than impressed with all the fixtures and fittings but every time a large lorry or van has passed me the noise has been excessive.
I thought i had tried all the windows up and down fully and they run fine with no sticking or freedom of movement.
So just giving them a good clean i noticed that in the top of the window seal area where the glass actually goes into someone has added some dark putty that has now gone solid. its only about 6 inches long and now find this is on every door.
I can only imagine that it was fitted for constant fresh air to enter or something else to escape?

I started to remove it with long nose pliers carefully but it has bonded itself into the seal and now they're ripping if i pull it.
I now need 4 new window seals front and back.

If they are very expensive new? Try somewhere like http://www.equicar.co.uk for used ones... Speak to Simon, he’s the boss. Mention my name/heard through the forum if you like, for a discounted price...
