I've owned a few Land rover's from the Evoque, through to the Disco and more recently two FFRR, in their 3.0tdv6 guise and this last one is proving to be even more economical than I'd expected.

Now; I don't drive like a lunatic and would say that I drive this car pretty gently but not like I'm on an economy drive either. So far this latest car is definitely more economical than my previous AB and much more so than the Disco. Over the last few journeys it returning figures that are really very good for such a big, comfortable bus and even allowing for a little bit of over estimation on the part of the trip computer it's still good. Have you done any better?

Well....not in a full fat! My best is 38mpg in a 4.4 L322.
But it does look like JLR are catching up with what a Cayenne was capable of 4 or 5 years ago.
The weight saving, aerodynamics and engine technology is making a real difference.
Would be interesting to log the mileage against litres in at fill up to verify the true consumption. The Cayenne was always within 2%, but my BMW 5 series was nearly 10% out
L322 fuel meter seems to be about 3% optimistic.
Glad to see someone else is capable of putting the words "full fat" and economy in the same sentence....
