And another thing ......

Sometime my car holds on to first gear until 3000 rpm then changes.

I have had the box flushed. Diagnostics by my local Indy shoes nothing, LR coins find nothing and a local transmission expert (3D in reading) also found nothing.

All in all I am spending money on diagnostics but nobody is diagnosing.


Maybe connected but sometimes at speed, say 60mph, when I accelerate the power comes in lumps of around 250 rpm at a time.

I am leaning towards a replacement box.



Again any theories are welcome

Holding onto first is very common and nowt to worry about , they do it from cold + random times.
