TD6 2004: Very moist breather hose

Hi there,

I took a couple of pictures of something that looks to be a breather hose next to the oil filter. I just wonder if this is normal, or a symptom that I should investigate?

Are you sure you don't have an oil leak in the vicinity of the oil filter.
Lots of oil around there.
I'd be inclined to clean off all the oil and take it from there. Thumbs Up

As above, clean it up then see if it comes back.

Could just be spillage from swapping the oil filter over in past services Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thank you for your advice. I will clean up and make an update after some time again. ----------
