Lights on the centre dash vents

Driving in the dark yesterday I noticed that 1 of the dash centre air vents was lit up. The green light at the top, the white/cream light at the bottom and the knurled control. That was on the drivers side but the passenger side had no lighting at all.

I'm guessing a dicky bulb so how do I get behind to replace said bulb?

I also note that the vents at either end of the dash have no lights but having searched on here, it appears that is by design. Something to do with reflections in the door mirrors.

I had a good look at Powerfulls various videos but nothing for the centre air vents. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

Passenger side centre vent should be lit - you have probably got a dud bulb. If you search 'centre vent removal' on here, @nicedayforit has posted a you tube link which will show you how to remove the vent to get at the bulb. Thumbs Up

The outer (door side) vents are not illuminated, personally I don't think this has anything to do with glare in the windows, as we already get the reflection of the switch pack lamps for the windows etc. My guess is that they forgot to allow for a supply when they designed the wiring looms!! HI all,

I have the same bulb out and have managed to take the vent out.

The "bulb" looks like a little LED - any idea of the code or any one got a useful link for what should be used to replace them?

Thanks,
