Front light bar

Just wondering does anybody know of an LED front light bar for L322 2012 Westminster - either roof or grille fitting?

How big are you looking for - one of the full width 42-50" ones ?

I've never seen one on a FFRR - assuming you don't want to drill into the bodywork, I guess you'd need to buy a roof bar & fasten one to that - maybe run the cable inside the door where it meets the headlining ?

They are pretty effective - I bought a 20" one to play around with - I have a ski boat & the lake is pitch black at night - it seems to give out a good bit of light & I just bought a cheap one off eBay.

Those LED bars are superb but I wouldn't put one on the roof, a few on the off roading club I'm in have tried and they are so bright the reflection off the bonnet is really bad and negates the purpose of the bar... basically they are a victim of their own brightness....

They are very very bright though and even the cheap ones seem to last well... Thumbs Up Pete

Which is why they should be set back from the leading edge of the roof so that the roof itself Shields the light hitting the bonnet, distance back at just enough to let the light cut down past the bonnet. The sport bars as mountings should allow that. V8 or else ...

Lamps are still king when it comes to beam, and beam is what gives real potential to see futher. To get better beam control and efficiency out of LEDs, they have to be facing towards the reflector. Generally speaking, the bars are very bright, but are not a patch on a good pair of large lamps for throw. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
