New to L322 owenership

Morning all. Having owned lots of LR's over the years (and hopping over from the D3 forum), but never an L322 FFRR, I managed to pick up a late 07 Vogue SE with only 68K miles for a really good price. I'm debating whether or not to keep it and having read the usual internet horror stories, I'm unsure. It drives superbly and has only three (seemingly common) problems - steering column adjust doesn't work, drivers seat heat/cool is intermittent and there is an outstanding error for the spare wheel tyre pressure. I'm assuming all these are covered elsewhere in the forum, but if anyone has any immediate pointers, please do let me know. Many thanks, Chris

Welcome

The Search & Wiki are pretty good Thumbs Up

TPMS is a pain - I disabled mine altogether as it drove me mad. I did't have either of the other 2 issues - but they do sound familiar & there will be threads on them somewhere

All common problems, after persevering with the TPMS for some time, I eventually switched it off as well! 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Thanks all. Pity I didn't manage to spell 'ownership' correctly in the title, but never mind. I've resolved the tyre pressure issue, which is good. Just need to sort out the drivers seat (which does cool I've found out), clear the jammed DVD player in the boot, fix the steering column adjustment and deal with the new fault, the erratic fuel gauge (another common problem it seems and one that my much newer D4 has developed - I do love Land Rover)). I'm amazed that given the age of the vehicle (MY07) and having owned various RRS' and D3's at the time that the tech from those vehicles wasn't included in the RR (basic user settings for example - follow me home lights, lazy lock, etc.).

All good fun though and I'm looking forward to a day out in the cold tomorrow with it fixing stuff!

TPMS is a total ball-ache and not just LR cars. I've got a brand spanking new Audi A4 Avant from Avis while I'm down in Bristol and 2 miles out, BONG, TPMS threw up an error. Stopped, got it, checked, no deflated tyre!

Whistle

L322s can do lazy locking, FMH etc etc, just get hold of an IIDTool and you can do that and more Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey
