Interested in this car for my wife. However it doesn't have the chrome in the usual places. Is this some sort of Atlas pack they have chosen.

Its a MY14 car built in late 13, luckily it still has the Chrome Grill and badges which she likes.

I'm assuming the other chrome/silvery bits along the tailgate and under the doors could be put back on if necessary?

Also the very rear windows look very black indeed, we aren't privacy glass fans but have to accept most of the cars have it but those rear ones look as if it's special glass or is that just the photo/light do you think?

There is a Dark Atlas option - which could be it - that should show on the build sheet

From the photos it looks like they might even have colour coded the pieces, kind of hard to tell.

The bits that are dark are regular Atlas on mist cars & are removable pieces so could be retro-fitted - or even removed & sprayed.

I think Dark Atlas looks more like this one

so your one looks colour coded to me.

Yes I think you are right they do appear body coloured. Let me have a look at the build spec and I'll report back as to what it says.

get them resprayed and don't forget the side vents - those parts are really expensive when bought form LR..

Mine where by luck only plastic coated and it got them all back in silver for 60 pounds  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

Atlas is the standard colour, so they've been done after market.

Looks a bit mismatched to me, why do the back and sides but leave the front?

Well I'm happy they didn't do the front as not a fan of the "black pack" etc..

Photos were funny as when we went to see the car the rear is normal privacy glass and the fronts the usual light tint. It did look to me like the very rear might have been even more heavily tinted but that wasn't the case.

No we went for it! It's hugely specced which is nice and if it didn't have the privacy glass it would be almost perfect but it was close enough for my wife to want it. Although she immediately said I have to still keep an eye out for a Loire Blue (non privacy) car in the future!

Loire blue is a very nice colour !  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!
