I forgot to add, they also did the SC snout update as well, so chain tensioner update, pulley alignment, SC snout = diesel rattle. Just embarrassing when sitting at a traffic light and the SC is louder than the Volkswagen Diesel sitting next to me. I have to keep the RPMs up to keep it from rattling and now the VW guy thinks I want to race him!! Sigh!

funnyguy1: I'll try and ask for all three to be done but my experience of dealers is they prefer to do one at a time - this is what worries me. Hopefully they'll agree. Do you have any paperwork that proves that all three are needed? 2012 5.0L S/C

Hi Nomad,

My dealer did the chain tensioners first, then the pulley alignment and then the sc snout. They were aware of all issues and repaired so now i just live with it.
