Which bit of the cooled front seats is cooled?

For the first time since owning the thing I had a legitimate use for wanting to cool the drivers seat yesterday as I'd parked in the sun. The seat base was nice and chilled but I couldn't feel anything on my back.

Should the backrest be cooled as well?

Both seat sections heat up together and independantly so there are no issues there.

First world problems and all that.

Thanks.

The seat back should be cooled also. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I suspected as much.

Unless it's an easy fix I'll leave it for now; it's hardly essential.

Thanks.

When they go it's the heating that stops first so I suspect you just have poor air flow , the back is never that strong . 2008 MY Supercharged

More likely a crushed corrugated pipe that carries the air from the Peltier cell . 2008 MY Supercharged

Agree with above but to add, you can turn the back of the seat off by pressing the centre button... Make sure the obvious is covered first sir Whistle Thumbs Up

I wouldn’t leave it too long either sir, as if you have a partial blockage? You will burn the peltier motor out quickly (using both hot or cooled air) Thumbs Up
