Check faults, clear faults, go for a drive... then check faults again!

Asides that, I had great fun playing with all the configuration settings. Stopped the retracting steering wheel (before it died) and enabled the 80s 'blip' noise upon locking/unlocking. Also enabled the daytime running lights using the dipped beam. Oh and heightened off road setting - will be useful at next week's SLROC green road run! Thumbs Up 2002 Range Rover Td6 Vogue

See what fault codes your car has recorded ?

Then clear them & see what comes back Thumbs Up

I used mine to turn of TPMS - but I had ongoing issues with TPMS....

Have fun but be careful what you play with!

Whenever I feel like messing with something and I don't know exactly what I'm changing, I always recall this thread where poor Dave reset his gearbox calibration settings and it ended up costing him (although it seems most likely the fault was already present and being compensated for by the adaptions, removing the adaptions just highlighted it)

Be careful, I lost my Bluetooth and phone and still haven't been able to work out what the correct settings should be!!! Says it makes a back-up but mine didn't or at least didn't include all the settings. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Hi All. In respect of the basic IID Tool can it be used to reprogramme TPMS, i.e I have another set of wheels that I have put on, and I have each sensors ID. If not which version of the IID would be capable of doing this? Thanks

New set of TPMS valves with automatically code themselves to the vehicle within a couple of miles driving (or at least the do for L322 versions!)

Only the spare should need programming to the vehicle (and I think you can just put it on for a couple of miles....) 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Hi Martin, nah unfortunately they don't as I did three hundred miles yesterday with my new wheels and tryes and TPMS, if they are new sensors to the vehicle, you have to reprogramme the vehicle with the IDs of the new TPMS sensors. I spoke to the local dealership who spun me a yarn about having to remove all of the tyres to get the IDs, however further research has given me great insight and TPMS scanners are used instead as the local tyre did for me this morning and for free.

I think the actually scanner can update the ECI once it has the IDs of the sensors but the tyre fitter is new to the device and was hesitant. This is the scanner and even cheaper than the local dealer quote for the work. Not only that when I want to put the winter wheels back on you have to redo the process....grrrr

If this works it means I can do them each time myself Smile
