judder scrapping transfail

hello all think i know the answers to this but hey ho ☺ driving fine my 2005 td6 then heard a scrapping then violent judder then transfail mode managed to get rr to finally come out of transfail mode and drive ok in all forward gears but now have no reverse any comments wud be gratefully received thanks

I'm with Pete on this one. Perhaps you could try explaining the issue a little more clearly? Where was the 'scrapping' coming from? How did you get it out of failsafe?

sorry lads i have re wrote the question and the scrapping was comming from the gearbox / torque converter area and transfail reset itself via turning ignition on and off spoke to garage / gearbox specialist who confirmed torque converter fault i was just wanting a bit of reassurance
