My guess is that it is mainly a reaction to the growing hostility to diesel, especially for urban use. Legislators are under pressure to improve air quality and buyers may be concerned about that and about filter clogging and not need/want 500 + bhp. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

I don't like diesels but the amount of time one spends in petrol stations with a 5.0 is offensive.
