The Gap is the best... apart from a full LR test book... and then there are a few things that the Gap IID tool can do that even the LR T4 wont Thumbs Up

FYI the non bluetooth IID is cheaper, but it will only work with specific models and relies on a good pixel display on the dash.. which the ffrr hasn't got the best reputation for Wink So most of us have gone for the better BT model which will work with all the LR range, subject to licences Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... You can use the non BT version with a PC, not tried it yet, though.... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

It's cheap when you compare it to what a service centre will charge you for a diagnosis, it would pay for itself very quickly. If you just want a code reader there are elcheapos around, they are not dedicated and don't give all readings. You cant program or reset stuff with the cheap stuff

+1 for the GAP IIDtool. I must have saved at least £500 in dealer / Indy fees using it.

Loads of things you can do with the iid tool.
