Blown Xenon & inactive suspension

Hi all, Car is 2003 4.4 on LPG, 145000 miles, Last night i got a check headlamp warning & sure enough the off side xenon was out! Unfortunately at the same time it also took out the air suspension(inactive) and made a multitude of warning lamps flicker on the dash, i was getting interference through the speakers, even with the radio off, i think this was probably coinciding with the car trying to continually light the bulb. I removed the bulb & it was completely blown, glass gone etc. when removed the interference stopped & the dash lights started behaving again, no luck with the suspension though. I left it alone after that, this morning the suspension was behaving for the first few miles then it came up with a fail again.
Question is, has anyone had the same & do you think it will start to behave after i get new bulbs in, new ones on order, is there a link in the systems that could cause it?
Any suggestions greatly welcomed.
Neil

The LCM (Light Control Module) picks up a fault for the suspension, this is probably recurring, once it finds a problem with the bulb. Hopefully will go away once new bulb fitted, if not codes to be read and cleared! Unless of course you got two faults at once, and it was just coincidental! (It is a Fullfat after all Laughing ) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

The xenon bulb blowing can cause some really bad faults, SaintV8 on another forum lost communication to the OBD port when his bulb blew and months later it connected ok again if I recall correctly. Do you have any diagnostic kit ?

No good stuff just a cheapo engine check one, i will try & see if it still works.
Air suspension resets itself after being stood a while & then fails again a few miles into the next journey, new bulbs should be with me tonight so hopefully it will reset tomorrow & stay reset!

It may just be a coincidence or needs some other faults cleared, they don't need much of an excuse to throw an EAS fault.

Postie took my bulbs back to post office!!! must not be my normal one as he would have left them, so hopefully i will get them tonight after i get someone to pick them up today. On a positive note the Air suspension has stopped failing, it was good going home last night & this morning.
