i get similar emails , like stating that my bank account has been put on hold and asking me to verify my details by clicking on a link, or a parcel is waiting for me and again asking me to click on a link..

One such scam / phishing email doing the rounds at the moment purports to come from Paypal, saying that 'your account has been restricted due to unusual transactions'. It provides a link on the email to login in to Paypal, but it is a scam.

I got the same one - from somebody called Cheryl Ibale. I deleted it straight away. DO NOT be fooled by anything like this, there seems to be a lot going around at the moment particularly one I keep getting supposedly from paypal asking me to update my details using an embedded link. Unfortunately some people will be taken in by these snafs (shorthand for SUB NORMAL AND F D UP) - if only we had a button on the keyboard which allowed us to fry the pc of whoever sends these out...
