Injector coding to ECU???

So mixed messages all around internet land.

DO I or Do I not need new injectors coding / calibrating to ecu on a 2002 TD6 M57????

Wiki post saying nothing about it.

Reason I ask is I have just changed 2 because of leak off. afterwards car was sluggish and not going above 3000rpm.
Now I've found the hidden menu's I have done a reset of fault codes, test 21. and this seems to of improved the problem but is running lumpier.

Now I'm guessing that this reset has cleared the fuel trims and will need running in to reset them????

Anybody tell me. if it does need doing anyone local to Midlands Tamworth that can sort!

No coding was necessary when some of mine were replaced. I think there is an ability to forcibly adjust the fuel trims if you have the right gadgetry. 2004 Vogue TD6 - Remapped Smile

I use the BMW INPA diagnostic software to keep check on the injectors and running on mine. There is a reset function so I presume that the car is able to adapt parameters over time and this resets back to factory. It is not one injector specific, just does all in one go 2007 TDV8 VSE
