live values on Steering sensor please

Could some one be kind enough to give me their live values on the steering angle sensor with their iidtool? A degree reading on full lock right and full lock left. I would like to compare degree readings with mine . Thanks

Where are the live values for the steering angle sensors on the IID Tool, can't find anything for them, just been out and plugged my IID in to read them, but there's no mention in the live data menus.

Thank you all for doing that for me, it's much appreciated!. I am trying to trace a fault, iid tool BT sometimes comes up with Steering ECU internal error fault. I had a reading last night of centre 0 deg , right -457deg and left 1456 deg! and then it froze and would not show any reading other than that when the wheel was turned.
I did a re calibration reset the faults and this morning and I have 0 deg centre, R -609.8 & L 635.5, I know that when I go for a drive later the fault will return again.

Sorry to hijack this thread slightly, but I updated my IID Tool to the latest firmware, thinking I needed that to get the SASM Steering Angle ECU info...but still can't get anything.
Just checked the ECU files with the IID and it says the SASM ECU is 'not fitted' to my FF. Is this the case, or am I missing something? I have the 2005 Touchscreen model and have the Off-road display on the sat nav that shows the wheel position on the display for when you're off-roading.

Mind you, having looked at the ECU screen on IID, I appear to be 'missing' a few ECUs, as in it says they're 'not fitted'. Shocked

In bold, this points to a defective SAS, typical behavior.

Discotigger: please try the following: Start the engine, Menu--IIDTool Config--Find ECUs, should make the SAS visible. http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/

Hi Pat,

Have tried what you suggested, says it finds 24 ECUs but still no joy with the SASM Steering Angle ECU. When I go into the Faults menu and Show all ECUs, it comes up with a list, However where it shows SASM - Steering Angle, directly underneath it says DS2 - Not fitted (In red).

There are a few other ECUs it says are 'Not Fitted', some I can understand as there are for example two versions of Body Processor shown, V10 and v12...the V12 is shown as fitted in my FF.

Any ideas please as to what is going on?

Many thanks. Thumbs Up Bow down Bow down
