Odd air suspension problem

Hi

I realise there's many posts about the air suspension but thought I would see if anyone has had this happen before and if there is a way I can sort it without goinf to the garage.

Our 02 l322 has been showing the air suspension inactive message for about 2 to 3 weeks. You can't raise or lower the suspension but the lights are still on the suspension controls, they just flash when you try to operate the suspension.
I bought a reset tool but it would not reset the fault. The air suspension still works at keeping the car on it's normal suspension height however.

Well today we get in the car and there's no lights on the suspension controls and the rear right suspension is right down. I used the reset tool and it cleared the fault! I can now raise and lower the suspension but not on the rear right corner.

Anybody know why thus might be? That corner always seams to be lower than the others when we come back to the car and I measured the height on all four corners and they are all different.

Hi. I haven't no. What should I be looking for? I changed the wheel on that corner a few days ago, although have been having problems with that corner for weeks. I noticed there was a plug with nothing in it and wondered should there be anything in it?

Sorry picture is wrong way round.

Ok something interesting has just happened. I drove the ff onto our flat concrete level yard. I pressed the ride height inhibit switch and the rear wheel came to it's correct height, I think the front left moved sown a tad too. Now it all seams to be working and has not faults showing on the dash.

I've thought about doing that but now am worried if I do it will mess it up again lol. The troubles started when I put it on maximum height a few times to do work underneath it.

Thought I would just update this thread.
Problem solved.
Needed new height sensor on rear right. This had "apparently" already been done by another garage.
Now all works fine, recalibrated and tracking done, drives much better.
