I changed the air quality sensor but it had no effect on the air con not working. Its mainly for the air recirculation in the car.

Just had mine regassed after fitting a new condenser and it didn't work, pump not engaging I removed the front part of the pump held on with a 10mm headed bolt spayed in some release fluid put it all back together and it worked. Might be worth a try. 2004 td6 Zambezi silver

pip1977 Were you able to remove the clutch pulley in situ or was the pump off the car? Can anyone confirm the pump is a Sanden and quote the model and part number for a 2007 Vogue air con pump please? Thanks Rehab is for quitters!!! I was able to remove whilst still on the car, just enough room on the td6, not sure how tight it would be on your tdv8 2004 td6 Zambezi silver

I've just had a look on the GAP website and it does indeed look like you can live test the air con pressure.... Thanks Simon, I had a play with it and it does show "refrigerant pressure", and it's 5.666 so thanks for the info on that.

Interesting, my air-con also doesn't work, I can power the clutch and it works fine straight from the battery but the connector only has 9.2 volts even if the engine is off, (mine also reads ~5.6 bar on the IID tool)
