Could it be the body control unit. On earlier models it is the black box under the front passenger seat, maybe the connections need checking. Tom

First step on a modern car with weird problems is to remove the battery connections overnight and charge battery.

Couldn't get into it this morning using the remote and had to put the key in the special place again but once that was done, the car worked perfectly.

Battery disconnect procedure seems to work for lots of cars. Hope it sorts it out

Its ironic, with a pc or laptop or tablet we expect to turn them off to resolve a problem at least once a month. But cars we expect to run forever without a software glitch, despite them having more computing power in many many places..... |
