One with liquid in is chromatic (think that's what it's called) they are expensive to replace, I replaced both my.mirrors for aftermarket ones (sadly cracking the passenger mirror when removing) I put on a nice matching pair of heated mirrors with blue anti dazzle effect |

Chromatic have two sets of electrical connectors running to them, ones a black plug and the other connects directly onto the mirror.

Thanks folks. Having driven around for a few days with no drivers mirror you forget how necessary it is!
