I tend not to give out part numbers to customers either.

Whatever it is, someone will,be selling it cheaper online. Over the course of a week/month, that's a whole lot of wasted time supplying part numbers for said person to then buy cheaper online

Of course, there are various EPC's online you can look up your own part numbers Thumbs Up

Thats a very good point actually.. not the reason why I needed the part number anyway but if thats the attitude we are gonna get may aswell go to your local dealer and get the "super dooper" 5% discount no waiting.. All you have to do is ask..

Sorry guys.. the EPCs are readily available so didnt think it was a big deal. Current:

if EPC's are so readily available, why did you keep on asking Dan.....

i agree with Mikey, through the years i have been on the forum ,i have seen members asking Dan for part numbers and prices and then a couple of weeks later boasting that they got it the part cheaper else where..

Mikey will confirm that it takes a while to identify the correct part number and then generate a price and it must be frustrating that it doesnt result in a sale.

the russian microcat is a bit of a pain to peruse but you can get the part number in the end... ... - .- -.

If you are quoting a price then it doesnt really take much of an effort quote the part numbers does it?

I would accept if someone said "sorry I cant quote you the part numbers" (understand its a trade and not a charity) rather than saying its a waste of time or completely dingying the original question !! after all its a forum and helping anyone is a waste of time then Im really puzzled.

No hard feeling guys.. just saying it how it is Current:

Generally speaking I don't give part numbers out, few reasons I guess.

I've taken the time to look up the numbers, some will then take these numbers and try and find an alternative cheaper part elsewhere, which is only natural I and I understand it completely.

I keep part numbers on a quote for myself should you decide to order them later on, also a factor is time constraint in having to type them in twice onto my dealer system and then forum, as petty as that sounds, its time I can save which helps me try and provide a better service. You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts
