phone integration

Now the TV is up and running, time to work on the phone which has the 'call cut off when answered' syndrome on bluetooth. I have the module with the serial number ending on 42

So I got a BMW IPhone cradle which has the same connector, and plugged it into the car connector in the armrest
It fits ok, and charges the phone, however on the touch screen it says 'phone not fitted', whereas it will connect on Bluetooth if not work!

Has anyone managed to make one of these cradles work, or have I forgotten to do something.

Replacement second hand modules seem to be daft money.

Best wishes
Glen
