My Goodyear MT/Rs were OK in snow, but the compound and sidewalls are hard, so not good on ice. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Wow what an epic journey Stan. Couldn't think of a nice vehicle to do it in though!

Which 275s are you running? I'm finding the standard 255's way too easy to kerb. Big Cry

Oh right - 21's - forgot you've got 405 rims....

NMJ Laughing Laughing Thumbs Up - I'm man enough to admit I've snagged a kerb or two!

In my defence this is my first FF so it's taken a bit of getting used to parking a shipping container.! Will definitely need a trip to the refurbers at some point... Embarassed

Are those the 21" L405 wheels, Stan?

Do you know what they are called or the style number at all? I think those are what I need on mine. They look just right and quite in keeping IMO.

Stuart,

Style 101 - One example set of those 'very wheels' can be seen on this forum add. If still for sale , they will doubtless be as described and you should be able to buy with confidence:

Thanks for that. I've sent him a PM to see where he is. I agree they could be cheaper but we'll see what occurs.

crikey, its been 6 months since i posted in my thread..

the westie is still going strong and nothing really to report or moan at..

the dealer recently replaced the starter motor, oil cooler and turbo feed pipe all under warranty and this prompted me to renew it for another year..cost is a fair bit but not much more than a 'warranty wise' jobby and with the UK and european breakdown cover it gives me peace of mind... ... - .- -.
