Full livery Met Police L405 on transporter

Just heading home from work along lower Thames street in London and spotted a full white and blue liveried L405 Met Police 17 plate on the back of a low loader. Didn’t realise the Met still had Rangies in full uniform and never seen a 405. Was running so didn’t manage to get photo unfortunately Current Fleet:-
2012 RR 4.4 TDV8 Westminster
2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography LE
2006 Mitsubishi L200 Animal
2004 Mitsubishi Shogun Warrior V6 LWB

Down in Devon & Cornwall they get given BMW’s. They must dream of getting given a L405 or, for that matter, a Ford Kuga! Wink 4/10/18:

Saw a silver L405 Range Rover with Met police signage. It was a 67 plate.
Strangely it was near High Wycombe on the roundabout over J4 of M40. Last week I think, or week before. Time flies when you’re having fun.

I believe they are part of either RPG or DPG......Royalty/Diplomatic Protection Group.

Some years ago, the bomb squad had fatties as well because the BMWs at the time didn't have the load carrying capacity weight wise; don't know if that's still the case.

Now all they need to do is sort those motorcycles out and chop those out for something half decent too! Wink 4/10/18:

I always knew Wimbledon was in the out skirts of London, I didn’t realise it was so far out it’s classified as the sticks : Rolling with laughter He who dies with the most toys, Wins !!!!!

Wimbledon is definately out in the sticks - some evenings it can be nigh on impossible to source an avocado!

No, my rural lot in west wales seem to have a real mix of bizarre panda cars but the kugas seem most common Current Fleet:-
2012 RR 4.4 TDV8 Westminster
2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography LE
2006 Mitsubishi L200 Animal

Clearly we are all scum up in't north. My police force drive around in Peugeot vans! Guess they'll arrive eventually if the need arrises.

"Some of the cars, which retail at more than £50,000 each, will be on the road by Autumn."

Didn't think dealers we giving that kind of discounts, must have a lot of stock to clear.
