FSR wiring ?

my FSR failed last year , and then I found the multi plug was fooked too , anyway ive not really missed the fan but was at the scrappies the other day and grab a plug and wiring off a 5 series Bmw while I was there , now on connecting the mutli plug and refitting the fSR it immediately set the fan going , I mget the feeling the fSR is goosed ( its new ) or have I wired it up wrong , the bmw wiring was the same colours as the FF so I just went like for like Confused

Hi, did you ever solve this ?

I’ve just replaced the FSR Plug and have the same problem. -------------------------------------

I’be just replacement connector with one off eBay that is sold for BMW”s, cut off the old and soldered in the new. In doing so, I extended the loom by approx 15cm, so made it much easier to refit the FSR connector as it was less tight to navigate the hand under the steering column / centre console.

If you have tried everything else, consider this.
After fitting it, I needed to do the Battery disconnect / reset, to get to a clean state of the car, but now it all seems to be working perfectly (fingers crossed).
