United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black
Why have these wires been cut ? Photo fixed

Still suffering from the occasional non starting dilemma. Can be weeks between episodes and there’s no obvious tell tales before or after.
While checking the usual came across this abomination wrapped in insulating tape behind the battery.

Any idea why these wires have been cut in the past by someone ?

I thought about something like that but they’ve been cut and a 2 inch length of wire has been rather poorly been added in with crimped connectors. Current: Supercharged 06 FFRR in Java Black
