many have..you do have to wire in an existing bulb or a resister in line on one side only to get the leds to work properly.

Only on one side?

Ok cool.

Seems strange that you can’t get a canbus bulb with resistor built in? Regards

I've found that the resistors aren't necessary, actually wouldn't work with them but have been great since July last year without.

I got the full vehicle set off e-bay https://ebay.us/tf1lJC - NOT recommended though as almost every bulb other than the puddle lights has needed to be replaced Sad

What type of resistor needs to be used? Thank you!

Dunno about the later models but on my 2003, I just fitted LEDs without resistors nor the original bulb in circuit. Ron B. VK2OTC

Problem is, i bought the complete puddle
light in Led from China, when one side is bulb and the other led its okay. both sides led they will only flash and then go dark, so i need a resistor. i’m not sure how much ohm to use?

See here for mirror puddle ones:

Work perfectly.
Interior LEDs next - the Amazon kit mentioned in same thread.

Far easier to chop the live wire and wire it into the live for the lower door lamp Thumbs Up
