Dreaded Air Suspension Inactive, HDC, ABS & No Speedo

Hi Guys,

So I've been putting up with the HDC, ABS, Suspension & No Speedometer issue for a few months now desperately trying several fixes without luck, so I figured it's probably about time to post online for some more suggestions.

I've also already read through the forums and tried all the simple suggestions (resetting suspension, fault codes etc) Car also has dual battery system so it's not the power source etc - it's a bigger issue by the looks ...

The car's lifted with 33" muddies & Johnson rods, so that extra 1" of suspension (when it's not erroring makes a HUGE difference for me).

I've changed:

- All 4x wheel speed sensors with new ones (like $20 each on ebay);
- Checked left rear wheel, and removed the Tone Wheel (I've read this is the one that the speedo comes from so am assuming this is where the problem lies) and cleaned all the rust off with a wire brush...

Does anyone have any other suggestions? -- This issue is killing me...

If it helps, it's not a permanent error - it seems to happen after driving the car for 10-20km's (from a cold start) - if it's been recently driven the issue occurs much sooner.

Also, when parking (after turning the car off) - the suspension returns back to it's normal height which is even more frustrating.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has any pointers!

Not sure if any of what follows is a solution for your woes (and you probably know this anyway) but all the abs, hdc etc are connected through the canbus so if only one of those sensors faults, it trips all the others.

Starting with the obvious, have you taken out the abs cable from the abs unit (rear pax side of engine bay)? It’s like a scart cable and sometimes gets corrosion on the little spades within. Mine showed all the lights once and I saw tiny green corrosion on 2pins. Quick toothbrush and contact cleaner and all was good again.

I've checked (and cleaned) where the sensors connect at the wheel bay but not in the engine - Will have a look today, thanks for the suggestion!

Not related to your fault but how did you find the johnson rods for quality and to fit?

I have a set of 275/65/20 tyres to go on once my air suspension is working and I obviously need to give it a raise to make these fit.
