United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Nara Bronze

I'll keep my eyes open and see if I can find a used one then. Right now it's more of a nice to have as I've got no real issues (yet!) I have to say that compared to other devices that can read multiple manufacturers systems, they are bloomin expensive !

I currently have two, I started with the Hawkeye Total which does everything the IID tool can apart from modifying the CCF files, however, it can do a DPF regen. The downside is it's cable that plugs from the OBD port to the Unit itself, it's quite thick and cumbersome at times. I decided to opt for the IID tool as well after reading so much about it here. If I were to decide between the two, I would probably suggest the IID tool as it's compact and covers most of what you will ever need. The cost seems high to begin with but once you have used it a few times it's paid for itself, especially if you consider a diagnostic charge can be in excess of £75. I bought mine direct from GAP and with customs charges it came in around £450, they can be had cheaper if you look around, I should have taken advantage of the Duckworths sale of £405 when Dan was there but dithered too much.

IID great tool, aftersales service is not what I expected after reading the forum. Being a non tec, the forum reactions about aftersales where the reason to buy. But there I am seriously disapointed.

I recently ordered jlr ssd from ebay, so I will write up in a seperate topic what it can do and is it to complicated for diy use.
Icarsoft v2.0 is all the time in the car, and I am happy with it for basic maintainance. It only lacks suspension height adjustments, then it would be the best bang for buck. Cool RR HSE 4.4 2006 LPG
