Fuel System - Low Pressure Error

Was driving along and suddenly the engine lost power and wouldn’t accelerate. Pulled over to restart and it wouldn’t crank.

Ran the faults through my GAP tool and it’s reporting:

P008A - low Pressure Fuel System - pressure is too low
P00C6 - Fuel Rail pressure is too low

Tow truck on the way - anybody know the cause / repair for this? 2021 P525 | Eiger Gray

That’s my first thought. But it’s only got 34K miles on the clock...that would seem like a pretty early failure, right?

Any sensors that could get dirty / throw false reading? 2021 P525 | Eiger Gray

First thing to check is the fuel filter. If its blocked you could get a low fuel pump issue as (the pump in the tank).

There’s a very useful video which covers the fuel pump readings and how to check also:

Also check out the US forums as there are very few of us (but some) with 5.0s on this UK based forum.
