General Proximity Sensor Module / Wade Sensing Need part #

I'm retrofitting wade sensing to my US spec 2014 Autobiography. I added the wade sensing parking sensors under the mirror. I enabled it on my GAP tool so it shows up in the screen. The last thing I need is a wiring harness and the General Proximity Sensor Module as described below. GPSM

Unfortunately, I cant find a part number. The part is located on the left side of the vehicle above the camera module below the C pillar all you have to do is pull the weatherstrip off a little and it will show the the module part number.

Please help me guys.

Please note this is NOT the parking control module.

Thanks

Mark

Re: General Proximity Sensor Module / Wade Sensing Need part

steve - any chance you can share all the part numbers required for this retrofit? Interested in adding this as well... 2021 P525 | Eiger Gray

Notanrdx,

Thank you but you’re diagram is unreadable. Could you please up the resolution and try to repost?

Pherplxed, as soon as I get it sorted I will holla on here with my findings. I’ve gone thru 5 mirrors and two parking modules to get this far.

You can download the WS manual from the Wiki. That wiring diagram is from there.

If you go to the ccf files in GAP IID tool when connected to your vehicle, you have to have full access to the CCF. There is limited access and full access. Patrick Meileur of GAP can enable full access.

Once you do that, just type in wade and it will come up and you enable it.

The problem Im finding is that our cars might not have the correct chasis wiring harness to connect. There are 4-6 things our cars need to make this work:

1. The correct PACM Parking control module with wade sensing baked in.
2. The GPSM general proximity sensor module that many cars dont come with.
3. The correct wiring harness to hook up to the GPSM.
4. The wade sensors AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, the correct wiring harness in our side view mirrors that plug into the door wiring harness.
5. Maybe a new door wiring harness as well.
6. The correct side view mirror that allows for the wade sensro to poke out underneath.

So I dont know if its possible. Its an enourmous undertaking that Ive already spent close to $1,000 USD and I still cant track down the wiring harness to connect the GPSM.

I have the new mirrors, the correct, mirror wiring harness, the correct PACM, the GPSM, and the wade sensors. Im trying to chase the wiring now and its a slog in a bog.
