Air Suspension Not In Customer Mode

Can someone please help with Front Air Suspension?

So, I changed the FR Air Spring with a genuine LandRover LR051700 as it had a small puncture and after leaving it overnight both sides were down on the Bump Stops, Back up in the air like a playful puppy!

Air Spring went on OK and also replaced the Suspension Adaptive Damper Wireing LR032839 as this had been repaired in the past by previous owners.

All seemed to be going well and put back together ok, nuts tightened down etc.

However, i now have issues with the ride heights;

Ive used my GAP IID Tool and Flashed the ECU, Calibrated the Heights, 493mm Front & 483mm Rear.
Deflated and re inflated all the bags.

Set and reset the suspension and Adaptive Dampening.

BUT, it starts off in Normal Height and then for some reason raises up to Extended Height Mode.

When you press the Suspension Button to select Normal, it just flinches and then goes back to Extended Height. Back goes down and Front goes up so that there is about 450mm between Wheel & Top of Wheelarch!

Am I missing something, or should I be looking at faulty Ride Height Sensors?

I've previously replaced the Rear ones, but not the Fronts.

These are all showing a voltage reading of 2.1-2.9V

Many thanks

James

I think I'v found the issue!!!

It looks like a previous owner had installed the Hitachi Compressor when this model should have the AMK version.

The ECU was programmed for AMK, so I flashed the ECU with my GAP IID Tool, then recalibrated the Suspension and it now does what it should do.

I don't know if its just me, but it does feel like it drives like a completely different car now?

GAP Tool, the best investment any Land Rover owner will ever purchase.
