Violent wheel wobble

Whilst driving to work on the motorway this morning at 70, the front end started to act strangely. Best described as a rapid wheel wobble. It only does it whilst I’m negotiating a steady left. If I’m driving in a straight line or a steady right, it’s fine.
It seems to start when I go over a bump. It can be something as simple as a cats eye that starts it off. When I straighten the wheel it stops.
I assume it’s suspension related?

I freshened up the front end on mine, new control arms, ball joints, drop links and track rod ends and bushes, had a steering wheel wobble at about 65mph.

One drop link was shot,, as was track rod end, same side, transformed the car into feeling brand new again, no wobbling or clunks over potholes.

Whole kit only about 200 quid. Thumbs Up

I’ve just checked my MOT and there’s two advisories on it for lower suspension ball joints showing slight wear. I wonder if it’s that? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Check your wheel nuts are tight first.

Time to get the front end up on axle stands then!
Don't forget to check the track rod ends and the tie rod inner ball joints for free play along with everything already mentioned. Oh, and the wheel bearings.
