Insurance suggestions - company owned vehicle

Well after an eternity my RR ATB has arrived - collect it on 1 March! Just had a price to add it to our fleet insurance at work and it is showing a £5K excess including windscreen!

Tried NFU mutual but they won't cover currently!

Any suggestions most welcome!

I've used Admiral including for a Commercial Defender and had no issues although not tried to claim from them. Price has always been really competitive. Current fleet:

2023 PHEV 440 SE

I've just switched from a privately owned D300 SE to a company owned P440e HSE and the insurance policy was carried over (with six months left) and I received a £35 rebate after costs. I can't work out why but I welcomed it!

I hadn’t realised the L460 was being treated as a pariah by insurance companies until I read this article.

I see the article says that LR are going to launch "an exciting new insurance proposition".......that'll be at least a 2 year wait then!! All LR cars from 1984

It would be interesting to know some stats on stolen 460s letters not necessarily in the right order

The answer's simple. Keep the car, move out of London! Very Happy

I’ve just run a new D350 AB through GoCompare and it came out at £1,700 vs £1,100 for mine, so not too horrendous for a high risk car that’s worth more than double. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Like most of what you read these days, this article has been written for clickbait and is based on little fact. I live in London and I just priced up a 460 on the first website I went to and the price is not much more than I was paying for my 405 and about the same as my BMW.

Consider having additional security fitted to reduce insurance costs. NFU recognised MetaTrack and quoted my L460 a few hundred pounds less than my current L405, around £800 for the L460 from memory. Both have/will have MetaTrack fitted and other stuff.

I have an excellent fitter of security devices I’ve used for years. PM me if you want details. MY23 D350 HSE

OK I know mine is a L405 and not brand new, BUT ----

I was Censored issed my premium went up 40% from £360 a year Big Cry this month.

So phoned Churchill ask them why they justified a 40% increase, informed them I disabled keyless, use Guardian mode, and have fitted a TESSA approved Ghost2.

Finally they agreed a 11% increase to £403 so it pays to take extra security and to question why.

Why would you buy a expensive car and not fit a better expensive security system? 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

What effect does activating the various paid tracker/theft alert functions in the InControl app have on premiums?
