United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

In the last couple of days, got the car back after a small bump, see pics, bumper off, one new parking sensor, one new bumper mounting bracket, wing straightened out and some new paint. The other car a VW Passat needed new front bumper, new right front wing and drivers door Shocked The hire car I was given was a new 1.3 (turbo ) Nissan Qashqai, neat looking but very floaty and 'crashy' over bumps, it was horrible Big Cry

First accident I have caused since I started driving Embarassed

The before pic

Off to hospital on the ambulance

After repair

Just as well I got it back quickly as I had to drive to the vets an hour away to take two horses there for treatment, brought one back, went back today to bring the other beast home today.

Ready to load the beast this afternoon.

Full front suspension kit fitted today purchased from advanced factors nearly a year ago, just haven't had the time or energy. The ball joint in the hub is a bastard to smash out. Glad that's out the way. Also own a 1976 Land Rover 101 3.5 V8.
Previously owned 1991 Range Rover Vogue 3.9 V8.

Replaced the battery as in the last few days I have had on a few occasions a plethora of warning lights come up on the dash, relating to hdc, emergency brake assist, airbags etc.

The current battery was 4 years old so thought that it might be starting to fail. Only time will tell if its fixed the issue or there is an issue else where.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Fuji White

Changed the 'Napa' AGM battery for a decent Varta G14/A5 as I've had a couple of non-start occasions recently after some limited battery usage without the engine running.

Hopefully it'll perform better - just 10 minutes of the radio on was bringing me a low-battery warning and manual vent wouldn't run for more than a few minutes last time I used it. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

Just finished 1300 miles in 3 days including 3 channel crossings, the old girl hasn’t missed a beat and has to the best car to do these big miles in. No aches or pains now I’ve finally arrived in the Dordogne for the week.
Cant believe how smooth the roads are in France, makes these cars feel like they are just floating down the road. Amazing. 2013 SDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Aintree

Got in mine for the first time in 3 weeks and realised I probably need a new battery. TBF it’s an LR battery in there so may well be original 😬

Went for a drive through the Devils staircase in Wales, (Abergwesyn), nicest drive I have had in a long time, not a soul on the road not in front or coming towards me, just nice to give the old beast a bit of a workout over some winding roads.

Off on our first big trip in the car tomorrow and this evening the right front splash guard for non reason (well a bit of electolisis between the aluminium casting and steel guard!) departed company with two of its fastenings and sounded like a bucket of nails shaking around! Didn't have the right socket to remove the caliper so have just butchered the splash guard off with tin snips! Another job to do in a week when we are back!! Fingers crossed that the only issue we have in the next 10 days of motoring..... Current
