When you say hard reset do you mean disconnect the battery and touch the positive and negative together?

Hard reset , is the equivalent of switxhing off your computer and re booting it.

So Let the car stand for an hour or so, with No kery in it
Disconnect the battery, negative first , then positive Leave for a couple of hours
Touch the pos & neg leads together and reconnect , negative first.

Re start the motor and turn full lock left and right

That worked for me.

I discovered that the RR infotainment system has a " transport" mode which is what causes it to switch on and off.
The hard reset cured it for me.

Solved!!!!!

Finally fixed the radio but sadly have lost traffic system TA alerts but not worried about that. Lost the iPod connection which was never used as didn’t work right. But now working radio. So basically the blue wire that feeds the radio was giving 0.34 volts so it was broken. Rerouted a new cable and a second fused adapter cable off fuse 49 (dual fused lead) And ran it to the radio. Don’t know how it happened but finally fixed yay. 😀
