Factory Floor Mat question

So I can't be the only one with this issue. As I am the primary driver of my car and my wife the occasional passenger. My driver side floor carpet is the one that gets worn, yet you cannot buy, at least in USA, just the driver carpet, you have to buy all 3?? Is it the same in GB??? My other 2 mats are in new condition. Thx!

I got mats from a D5 2022 part no over here is VPLRS0663. Fit lovely and better quality.
For a L405.
