Primary Turbo Location

Hey, what side is the primary (small turbo) located on the 4.4 TDV8 from the driver seat point of view (UK RHD Car)?

England 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

The primary turbo is on the right hand side. Not sure that it’s the smaller of the two, it looks larger to me, but could be wrong.

Ok thanks guys. Yeah they don’t look any different in terms of casing size.

I’ve just got a faint whine/drown around 1500rpm which I’m trying to source.

Turbos kick in fine, no smoke, tiny whine as they spool up if you don’t have radio on to hear.

The primary turbo is the higher capacity of the 2, with the secondary only a fill-in for higher rpm.
