I had to force it open.
Not ideal, but I’d tried everything else I could think of.
Unfortunately I’m not much of a mechanic. Toolbox only contains a big screwdriver, pliers and a hammer!!! ... |

Might it be worth me getting an auto electrician to have a look if the battery and alternator do turn out to be ok?
Perhaps if they were to clear down any fault codes and then I do a hard reset it ... |

The battery was replaced about 5 years ago, but it was supplied with a lifetime guarantee. Perhaps I will get that checked at the weekend just to be sure.
