I have done this job today on my TDV8 and would like to add that there are two rivets in the subframe for each bush, which I could not remove. Had to use force on the tool to shear off the rivet.

It is true that the whole length is not completely tight to the windscreen. You did not glue the rubberlip to the windscreen, did you? The lip is still nice sitting on the plastic trim

Short update:
I mounted new clips and now the noise is not completely gone, but the situation is much better. Really seems to be the root cause for this 
Might need to buy new trims to complet ... |
