SUNROOF PROBLEM

Hi to all.Wondering whether you can assist me with following problem. Whenever i close the sunroof motor doesnot stop when sunroof is fully closed but first titl the sunroof about 1/2cms and then stops.

i have tried to reset sunroof by pressing titl and wait for the motor's slight movement then fully open and close it but nothing.

Any ideas of how i can solve this problem will be most welcome.

I need to check my Rave Manual, but is there still a manual key under the switch panel, maybe correcting it manually will reset it.

In the meanwhile does anyone else have any ideas? Discovery 4 HSE

do you mean when you try to open it goes back then comes back forward to close and so on , if so i had this problem and you cannot just reset by holding tilt as it will not work what has happened is as its opening its hitting a soft limit at full open then closing

i sorted this myself by having a play on my own and thinking logically as you need to re teach the soft limits for open and close into the ecu if this is the problem you are having ill have a thik how to explain as im more a doer than explainer Thumbs Up onto no6 Range Rover

Thanks guys for your replies.Suppose first i try with easier proposal of manual setting. If nothing then i will try to see if i can manage it as per second suggestion of rruk.

speedymarktd6-what i mean is when sunnoof is half or fully open and want to close it motor will move sunroof in "fully closed" position and then will titl the sunroof for abt 1/2cms.From outside car is clear that the sunroof is not aligned with the roof and believe because of it i have wind noise in car.
