Morning All.

Just thought I would pop my head up and say Hi.

In November i bought my first FFRR, a 2003 4.4 Vogue, with 70,000 miles on the clock.
What a lovely car the FFRR is, i should have bought one sooner, i just love sitting inside and driving it, whether it is just a short ride to get a paper or a long (several hours) journey up/down country. The missus likes it as well Thumbs Up

I am based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and will be using Mansfields 4x4 for the servicing etc, anyone used them? comments about them etc? I have used them for the other halves Shogun Sport and they seem reasonably priced and decent guys.

There are a few niggles a squeaky steering wheel when it retracts after turning off the ignition, and i have the battery drain issue, which has got so bad, that it won't even keep a charge now, so that is going in on Weds to be looked at.

This site is great Bow down , i have learnt a lot so far, and i still have a lot to read. I may even post a question one day when i have a problem and can't find the answer on here.

Oh, and i have a fullfatrr.com sticker on the back window Whistle

Cheers
Daren

Hello All

Morning all,
Just joined the forum (recommended by a friend who drives an 03 Vogue). Unfortunately totalled my TD5 110 on black ice on boxing day - had been looking round for a replacement when I found I could get a vogue for the same money - no brainer really. So, although we don't have a Range Rover yet, that is soon to change - will be looking at some this weekend - following a trip out in my friends vogue, SWMBO is all for us having one, so that's the main hurdle sorted!!

I'm sure I will soon be on here with technical queries, Mike tells me that the forujm is very friendly and helpful, so I'm looking forward to ownership (probably a 4.4 Vogue with the BMW engine, general concensus seems to be this model is happier on LPG than the AJ8 engined varieties, and as I do 16K per year the LPG conversion is another no brainer)

All the best

Ray.

Evening all, recently joined the forum so just saying hello. Been a petrol head for many years, many cars but never a Range Rover. Not purchased one as yet but fancy a FFRR 4.2 SC for a change mainly because I think they represent great value (feel free to put me right if you disagree). Other than the daily cars I've been into the older air-cooled Porsche for years and admit to being totally OCD so finding the right FF could be tricky.
Cheers, Des

Well, we did it!!!

Went to SR motors in Penarth yesteday to view a 4.4 Vogue, 56 plate, full LR service history until 2011, then 2 by an independant. Very tidy vehicle LPG conversion fitted, absolutely gorgeous, we took it for an extended test drive and were smitten.

End result, drove it home yesterday with a grin from ear to ear - these vehicles are AWESOME!!

Will post some pics when it has stopped raining here and the wife can get out with her SLR.

On another point, how do you get smilies to appear in a post? - if I try to add one, it just puts text in
