They have not set up the hand brake shoes correctly!

It's the drum part of the disc that will be affected. It will be blue / black from the binding - it will be the shoes that may be knackerd and depending how hot it got you may have warped the disc but you won't know until you rtrip it down. |

Appreciate it's now sorted and identified as a brake issue, but interesting to read someone had a wiring loom fault. My previous Volvo XC90 D5 had an almost identical intermittant fault and was after 5 trips to a garage identified as a faulty wiring loom on the injectors....not before all 5 injectors were replaced...I got my money back on the injectors but goes to show a proper series of checks can be the the key Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

Sorry to hear Trev, but at least it seems the problem is still brake related and not gearbox or engine Keep us posted please. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Got the FF back today.. been away for a few days and left it with them on Tuesday to sort out
