Had my ffrr for a week now, sdv8 ab.
Love it but it had a strange knock from the front just like an Anti roll bar bush has worn.
In at the dealers, but they are none the wiser but agree it does it.
Any ideas?

take a video of it when it happens and that will hopefully help the dealer find the problem..

or it could be something rolling about in the glovebox.. ... - .- -.

It is the new type terrain response 2. So my dealer told me

It did it as we drove it away from showroom. They've accepted there is something wrong just don't know what to do!!!
The dealer can only do what LR tell them to but so far they don't know what it is!! Aaahhhh

Nothing they can do So they say.

None of the demonstrators that I drove did it, don't think I'll be accepting that response.

My thought was active roll system too. Does it in straight line and when cornering, its more prominent on bumpy roads or when there is a sudden dip.Dealer says they have found the problem and should get car back tomorrow. However, we will see.
I wonder if it will come with an apology? It has put the dampeners ( no pun intended) on what should be a pleasurable experience.

Guess what? It was the active anti roll bar.
Picked it up on fri and seems to be ok. The dealer showed me the part they'd replaced. Apparently they are not allowed to open it up and investigate, but have to send it back. Land rover recon they have never had another one fail.
The service manager will send a report back to LR and we'll see what happens.

Same old story then. Oddly mine had a new ARB but that was the only one too! Glad they have fixed it, enjoy. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

recall on valve that causes air to get into the ARC Far to many gone...

Interesting thread. My new SDV8 ATB is going in next Friday for exactly the same grunt from front nearside. Luckily I'll now be able to tell them the solution! I did the same last week when I had the vibration from under the bonnet at 1300 rpm. Someone on the forum pointed out there was a JLR Bulletin on the issue "SSM63877 L405 V8 Transmission heat shield vibration 1400-1600 rpm" . How is it acceptable for a car of this expense to have problems already!
I'm really starting to think these things are thrown together, the quality department must be none existent.

My L322 is 7 years old and annoys me when it goes wrong. If it wasn't even a month old i'd go mental!
