No worries I also brought two of theses to replace the standard ones in the original box and looking at replacements at the minute for the door speakers.

Looks like they sent you the wrong head unit, that one is far too tall and not wide enough, also the proper one has buttons on both sides, not top and bottom..... Pete

Don't say that you sent me into a massive panic 🙈 I've just checked on there site the unit I've got Es2053b and the unit you have Es9753a are both 285mm wide and 120mm in height but I will check and measure when I get home tonight.

Nice topic.... my radio is since I bought the car dead/ it don't work (I can see the screen but the buttons don't work and no radiosound, navigation don't work)

Search eBay for ES2053B it will probably say it fits a BMW but the unit is correct, you want the 5mtr lead with it, either 17 or 40 pin, it doesn't matter as you have to cut it off anyway...
