^ I think there will be cutbacks resulting in jobs being lost unfortunately.
Just as well Scotland didn't go independent as the SNP were going to pay for everything with oil money. Previously..

Looks like the project I was moving onto in January has been shelved.. They're also looking at reducing contractor rates across the board again (Aberdeen rates confirmed at another -10% from 01/15 - on top of the -10% from just before the summer)
Not looking good... Regards
Mark

America is going Shale crazy at the moment with plentiful supplies of oil being produced, so OPEC's position is somewhat weakened. Russia is in a right old state as Vlad put too much importance on the price of oil Shocked SDV8 AB MY 2019

The only fuel I've used in any of my cars is Shell V-Power for the last 8 years.
The (genuinely) better MPG off-sets the slightly higher cost. Thumbs Up

Never found any difference tbh. Had this discussion years ago on d2 forum. So your saying there's a different refinery for different grades of fuel. When the fuel blockades were on, they all used the same refinery, only different tankers. Thumbs Up

Saw a tesco near feltham sw London tonight at £1.10 and £1.18 petrol and diesel. And about 5p each ,more just down the road! Still it's worth about £15 a tankful compared to a couple of months ago.

Guess the chancellor will have to step in soon to protect his vat.
Happy new year.

Update on fuel prices from here in the South-East. Local Esso near Maidstone has unleaded at 107.9p and Diesel at 116.9p. Getting ever closer to that 1.00p per litre Thumbs Up SDV8 AB MY 2019
