Any faults to look for on 2010MY?

I've put a small deposit on an unseen 2010 MY Vogue at a stealers. As the deposit is fully refundable I thought it a relatively risk free way to secure a car.

The question now is "are there any particular things I should look for when I get to see it?"

It's done about 13k, is a LR staff car. Any known weakness to be dealt with on the 3 year warrenty?

As it's still under warranty, you are pretty safe. Thumbs Up

Some have reported front brake issues under warentee. They are not quite as good and wear quicker. Discs too.

LR were too damn cheap to keep paying Bembro so have gone back thier own (inferior IMHO) brakes.
I'm guessing there was a reason they fitted them in the first place...

Other than that they are meant to be great.
Most of it has been used for years other than dash screen instead of dials, so should be well tested.

Do you mean by "LR staff car" that it is an ex Land Rover Management car - ie used by the senior bods at Gaydon/ Solihull? If it's one of those then there will be nowt wrong with it as it will have been given the once over anyway in the fleet management garage before release to the general public 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I believe that is the case, as the stealer has said it, but I don't know that for certain Shocked

Does the 5.0l SC still have Brembos?

Can they be retrofitted?

It's an oil burner, so I will allways drive 3/4 Mile from the car in front, just to be on the safe side Laughing

Still a nice vehicle.

I'm sure there are various stories why they stopped using Bembros.
One salesman told me it was because LR wanted to cut costs and buying in Bembros was more expensive. In which case why then put them back on the 4.4?
